Avoin kesätyöpaikka: Geologiharjoittelija

Haemme kesätöihin geologeja aikavälille 01.06.2026 – 31.08.2026. 

Etsimme malminetsintätiimiimme motivoituneita geologian opiskelijoita kesäksi 2026. Tarjoamme eturivin paikan seurata nykyaikaisen kaivosprojektin kehittämistä ja modernien malminetsintämenetelmien täytäntöönpanoa osaavan tiimimme kanssa.

Työtehtävät tulevat pääsääntöisesti olemaan generatiivisen malminetsinnän puolella. Työtehtäviisi kuuluu geologista näytteenottoa, raportointia, datan käsittelyä ja kenttätyön suunnittelua sekä osallistumista ja tutustumista muihin geologin työtehtäviin malminetsinnän ja kaivoshankkeen eri vaiheissa.

Yhtiö tarjoaa työsuhde-etuna huoneen työsuhdeasunnosta Sodankylästä tai työkohteen lähialueilta sopimuksen ajaksi. Työsuhdeasunnon sijainti saattaa vaihtua kesken työsopimuskauden lähemmäksi työkohdetta. Harjoittelijan palkkataso määräytyy opiskeluvuosien ja mahdollisten aikaisempien työkokemusten perusteella. Geology interns

Rupert Exploration Finland Oy is a subsidiary of Rupert Resources Ltd. Rupert Resources focuses on advancing the Ikkari deposit that was discovered in 2020 and in regional exploration on the Rupert Lapland project. Currently Rupert Finland has 35 employees, and our team has been steadily growing since the discovery of Ikkari.  

We are seeking summer interns for the field season 2026 to work on the Rupert Lapland project during the period 01.06.2026 – 31.08.2026. 

We are looking for motivated geology students to join our exploration team for the summer of 2026. We offer a front-row opportunity to follow the development of a modern mining project and the implementation of modern exploration techniques with our experienced team.

The work will be in generative exploration, including geological sampling, reporting, data handling, planning fieldwork, and participating in and being introduced with other geological tasks at various stages of an advanced exploration and mine development project. 

At Rupert we appreciate honesty, efficiency, openness, and a safety-oriented mindset. We will provide orientation and training to the work.

The company provides accommodation in Sodankylä or close to the work areas for the duration of the contract. The location of the accommodation might change during the contract to an area closer to the work site. The monthly salary of all summer geology students will be based on their academic progress in geology and possible previous job experience. Requirements: 

• Studies in geology 
• B-driving licence 
• Good team and interpersonal skills 
• Good motivation 
• Working proficiency in English

• Experience in GIS software
